Acceptd offers fee waivers to applicants who can document financial need. Waivers must be requested and approved before you submit your application.
Before You Begin
You'll need documentation showing financial need, such as one of the following:
- College Board SAT or ACT fee waiver documentation
- Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch (FRPL) documentation
- Proof the school has waived its own application fee
- A FAFSA Student Aid Report from within the last 2 years
- A tax return from within the last 2 years
- An unemployment benefits statement from the last 90 days
- A letter from a guidance counselor or advisor confirming financial need
Acceptd grants up to 5 waivers per applicant per application cycle, each with its own expiration date. If you're located outside the United States, contact support to find out what documentation qualifies.
Steps
- Submit a request to the Support Team.
- Include your qualifying documentation and the names of up to 5 schools you'd like waivers for.
Allow 24 to 48 hours for a response.
